Information is made available to the community, educators, doctors and other helping professionals, via our newsletters, this web site, and the medical publications relating to Turner Syndrome.
Happy New Year!
And what a year we have a ahead of us. I wanted to remind you of some upcoming events in which I hope
you will be able to take part.
Friday, February 11th, 2011 - Children's Mercy TS Clinic - 9am-4pm
This will be our third comprehensive
medcal TS clinic here in Kansas City. It is a day that will allow your daughter to see her endocrinologist, complete lab
and x-ray procedures as well as other specialists visits if needed. The goal of the clinic is to have all future appointments
scheduled prior to leaving your appointment. If this did not happen for you back in October, please contact Renee Greathouse at Children's
Mercy 816-983-6445 as soon as possible. Confirm your clinic day appointment as well as provide her the list of any other specialists
that your daughter needs to see, so that she can coordinate these visits for you.
Friday Evening - February 11th, 2011
- "A Night to Meet New Friends"
Many of our families live throughout the Kansas City area as well as travel in from out
of town to take part in the TS clinic. It's great to meet other families and girls whose lives have been touched by TS, but there
never seems to be enough time inside of the clinic day to allow this to happen. We would like to extend the opportunity for each
of you to come and get to know other a little better, and many of our other families and women who do not use the Children's clinic. Please
contact me directly if you have any questions.
